EMILY PERKINS
OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a sophomore middle blocker
from Plano, Texas, has been named SCAC Volleyball
Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, October 27
through Sunday, November 2.
Perkins hit .500 and averaged 3.71 kills per
set while leading Colorado College to a pair of victories last
week. She posted her 11th double-double of the season with 15 kills
and 13 digs in a four-set victory over Division II Colorado
Christian University.
In that match, Perkins hit .467 with just one error on 30 attacks. She hit .556 with 11 kills on 18 attempts in a sweep of Johnson & Wales University in the regular-season finale. She currently has 19 matches with double-figure kills this season.
