JONATHAN ALDEN OF TRINITY UNIVERSTIY, a senior from Austin, Texas, has been named SCAC Men's Golfer-of-the-Week for tournaments played through Tuesday, March 16.
Alden won medalist honors by shooting a 3-under-par 69 Tuesday, for a two-round 4-over 148 total. Alden improved his score by 10 strokes from Monday's round, rallying from a tie for a 14th place.
Alden led the Tigers men's golf team to is second tournament win of the season, capturing the 13-team TLU ConCan Intercollegiate Classic Tuesday by 11 strokes.
The Trinity Tigers men’s golf team has been ranked No. 22 by the latest Golf World/Nike Golf Coaches’ Division III Poll.
