GARRETT GARZA OF TEXAS LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY, a junior from Round Rock, Texas, has been named the SCAC Field Athlete of the Week for meets held through Sunday, April 22nd.
Garza earned himself a third-place finish against largely Division I competition at the Rice University Fred Duckett Twighlight Meet. His toss of 16.35 meters (53-7 3/4) was just short of his 54-0 PR set a week earlier.
He currently holds sixth place on the NCAA Division III performance list.
