WILLIE POLIO OF CENTRE COLLEGE, a senior from Owensboro, Ky., has been selected the SCAC Men's Cross Country Runner-of-the-Week for meets run through Saturday, October 22.
Polio had his best race to date this season at
the Southeast Cross Country Classic hosted by Berry College. He
toured the rolling 8K course in 26:29 finishing in 30th place out
of 309 runners of all divisions. Polio helped the
Centre men to a fifth place team finish out of 34 teams.
