MAITLIN RAYCROFT OF TEXAS LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY, a junior pitcher from Spring, Texas, has been named the SCAC Softball Co-Pitcher of the Week for games played through Sunday, April 9th. This is Raycroft's seventh Pitcher of the Week award this season and her sixth consecutive. She is joined by Southwestern's Lindsey Longuet as Co-Pitchers of the Week.

Raycroft added to her NCAA Division III single-season record for no-hitters with her seventh in an 8-0 TLU victory Friday against University of Dallas.

Raycroft just missed her second perfect game of the season. She faced one over the minimum in the six-inning contest.

In her second start of the week, she tossed a two-hit shutout to raise her season mark to 16-2 and lower her season ERA to 1.06. For the week, Raycroft struck out 18 and did not walk a batter. She increased her DIII-leading shutout mark to 12.

Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Freshman pitcher Lindsey Longuet of Southwestern University earned Co-Pitcher of the Week honors after recording three complete game wins and giving up no earned runs. Longuet also struck out 14 batters in 21.0 innings of work. Senior pitcher Katie Castillon of Trinity University was 2-1 with a 3.82 ERA for the week, but saved her best performances for a key weekend series against the 'Roos. Castillon picked up a pair of complete-game wins in both of her starts on the weekend, allowing just three earned runs in 14 innings pitched for a 1.50 ERA.
