MAITLIN RAYCROFT OF TEXAS LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY, a senior right-handed pitcher from Spring, Texas, has been named the SCAC Softball Pitcher of the Week for games played from Monday, March 19 through Sunday, March 25. It is the third time she has won the honor this season and the 11th time for her career.

Raycroft tossed back-to-back no-hitters in the Bulldogs' four-game series sweep of Trinity this weekend. In addition to her two wins, she also notched a save in the late game Friday.

In this weekend's three appearances, Raycroft did not allow a hit in 11.2 innings of work, and struck out 10 and walked five. The senior recorded the 11th no-hitter of her relatively brief TLU career (less than two full seasons), and she pitched her third no-hitter of the 2018 season. 

Raycroft is now a perfect 12-0 on the season and leads the league in almost every pitching category, including wins (12), ERA (1.07), batting average against (.131), strikeouts (85), strikeouts per game (9.06) and shutouts (four).
