KAYCEE BANKERT OF SCHREINER UNIVERSITY was named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference women's Golfer of the Week for competitions through Tuesday, October 27, 2015.
Bankert earned SCAC Golfer of the Week honors for the second time this year after taking fourth place at the Abilene Intercollegiate this week. The Mountaineers earned a third place finish as a team.
Bankert shot the lowest round Monday, 75 (+4) to lead the pack and followed it up with a mark of 77 on Tuesday for a 36-hole score of 152.
This is the second top-5 finish of the fall in just three tournaments for Bankert.
The Mountaineers have finished the fall season and will continue in the spring at the Linda Lowery Invitational.
Centenary College, Schreiner University, Southwestern University and Texas Lutheran University did not nominate.
