EMILEE STRAUSBURG OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a sophomore from Denver, Colo., has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Golfer of the Week for competitions through Tuesday, March 21.
Strausburg led the Tigers to a sixth place finish in the George Fox Westbrook Invitational this week in Arizona. The field was made up of all teams ranked within the top 25 nationally by Golf State.
Strausburg finished sixth in the field of 34 golfers, carding a two round score of 149 (+7).
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Sophomore Jessica Varner of Centenary finished in a tie for ninth overall at the Hal Sutton Intercollegiate, carding a 36-hole score of 164.
