KAYCEE BANKERT OF SCHREINER UNIVERSITY, a senior from Missouri City, Texas, has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Golfer of the Week for competitions through Tuesday, April 4th.
Bankert led the Mountaineers to a second place finish at the West Region Invitational this week.
Bankert took the individual title, carding a 153 through the two-round competition. Her first round score of 76 was the second lowest of the event, and her second round mark of 77 was the lowest score on Tuesday.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Sophomore Emilee Strausburg of Trinity University tied for eighth place individually at the West Region Invitational, scoring a two-round total of 164 (80-84).
