KIRBY PEDDICORD OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a sophomore defender from Houston, Texas has been selected as the SCAC Women's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, October 15 through Sunday, October 21.

Peddicord led Trinity to a victory in its only game last week, defeating the University of Dallas 7-1 in the SCAC road contest.

Peddicord and Trinity’s defense gave up just seven total shots in the game, narrowly missing the team’s 10th shutout of the season. Peddicord also picked up an assist on the final goal of the game for the Tigers, which was her first assist of the season.

For the season, Peddicord has anchored a Tiger defense that has recorded nine shutouts in 14 games played, yielding just eight total goals.
