LYDIA JONES OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a first-year swimmer from Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, has been selected the SCAC Women's Swimmer-of-the-Week for all meets through Sunday, January 29.
At
the UIW Cardinal Invitational, Jones swam a
5:14.50 500 freestyle. Swimming the lead leg on Trinity's 200
freestyle releay, Jones swam a 25.23 leadoff leg
and then posted a time of 1:58.67 in the 200 freestyle.
Later in the weekend, Jones tallied a 54.99 100
freestyle before finishing the weekend with a 54.87 leadoff leg in
the 400 freestyle relay.

In
the Colonel Classic Weber was a three-time
winner posting two seasonal best times out of three events. She
went 1:59.68 in the 200 Free and 18:03.54 in the mile which is
ahead of where she was last year en route to making the national A
cut.
