MABEL FOWLER OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a first-year from Uvalde, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women's Swimmer of the Week for all meets through Sunday, January 21st.
Fowler led the Tiger women's team to a 152-97 win over Southwestern on Saturday, earning a pair of individual victories as well.
Fowler won the 100 back in a time of 59.74 seconds, then earned a victory by nearly four seconds in the 200 IM, finishing in 2:13.61.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Sophomore Jio Chang of Colorado College won the 200 fly (2:17.00), was second in the 200 free (2:00.11), and fifth in the 200 IM (2:16.88) at the CC Classic, leading the team to a win.
