MELISSA CLEMENT OF HENDRIX COLLEGE, a junior middle blocker from Rogers, Ark. has been named SCAC Volleyball Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, September 19 through Sunday, September 25.

Clement helped the Warriors to a 4-1 record on the week by recording 70 kills for a 3.89 per set average. She also hit .400 with 16 blocks (0.89 bps). At the SCAC East/Central Divisional,  

Clement hit .565 with 15 kills in a sweep against host Sewanee. She recorded 18 kills and hit .448 with five blocks against Birmingham-Southern. Clement had four kills, five blocks and five digs in a sweep over Oglethorpe, then had 13 kills and hit .375 with an ace in a four-set loss to Centre.
