EMILY CAPLES
OF THE UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS, a junior right
side hitter from Walnut Crrek, Calif., has been selected the SCAC
Volleyball Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from
Friday, September 16 through Sunday, September 22.
Caples was excellent for the Crusaders,
leading them to three wins on the weekend including their first
SCAC win over Centenary.
Caples picked up 70 total kills and had a .275
hitting percentage in five games. She averaged 4.11 kills/set
including 15 kills over Austin College and Centenary, and 22 kills
in a non-conference tilt against Arlington Baptist. During
conference play, Caples boasted a .383 hitting percentage to go
along with 43 kills.
