MERRIFIELD OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a sophomore libero
from Fairfax, Calif., has been selected the SCAC Volleyball
Co-Defensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday,
September 23 through Sunday, September 29.
Merrifield collected 95 digs, an average of 5.94
per set, to help Colorado College win three of four matches last
weekend in Georgetown, Texas.
Merrifield set a career high with 36 during the
four-set victory over Southwestern, and then came back the
following day to scoop up 29 in the 3-1win over Texas Lutheran. She
has recorded more than 20 digs in a match in seven matches this
season.
