ARIA DUDLEY OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a junior outside hitter from Santa Ana, Calif., has been named SCAC Volleyball Defensive Co-Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Tuesday, Oct. 10 through Saturday, Oct. 14.
This is the second player of the week honor for Dudley this season.
Dudley shares this honor with Sarah Mullens of Trinity University.
Dudley led the Tigers with 11 blocked shots and eight digs on the weekend.
Dudley hit .382 and lead the team with 27 kills.
Other impressive performances in the SCAC:
Junior outside hitter Sarah Mullens of Trinity University posted two 30-dig performances on the weekend. Junior defensive specialist Brandi Campos of Southwestern University averaged 4.58 digs per set on the weekend and tallied 26 total digs in the five-set win over Trinity. Sophomore libero Jaci Chambers of Texas Lutheran University had double-digit digs against two nationally-ranked teams on the weekend with 21 against Trinity and 17 against Southwestern. Senior defensive specialist Tatiana Ferrari of Austin College tallied 40 total digs in the 'Roos three games this weekend.
