On Hold - Trinity XC Women Ninth in USTFCCCA National Rankings

NEW ORLEANS, La. – For the fourth consecutive week, the Trinity (Texas) University women's cross country team have kept the No. 9 spot in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) national rankings. In the USTFCCCA regional polls, Trinity received the No. 1 South/Southeast regional ranking for the fifth straight week.

Running with a limited squad of only five, the Tigers placed seventh at the UIW Invitational this past Saturday. Jessie Dean paced Trinity with her time of 25:52.24 to earn a spot in the top 50 in the 6K race. Ingrid Harb (26:23.08) and Julia Torres (26:33.27) finished second and third for the Tigers, followed by Marcella Reyes and Taylor Quiros.
