REBECCA LAVIETES OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a senior from Samford, Conn., has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Co-Cross Country Runner-of-the-Week for meets run through Sunday, October 19th.
Lavietes finished 43rd out of 143 in a highly competitive NCAA Division II field at the Fort Hays State Tiger Open in Hays, Kan.
Lavietes had an impressive time of 18:42, setting a new PR, breaking her old more of 19:03, and helping the women place 9th out of 17 teams.
