SARAH KENNEDY OF RHODES COLLEGE, a senior midfielder from Dallas, Texas, has been selected as the SCAC Field Hockey Defensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played Monday, October 17 through Sunday, October 23.

Kennedy was key in the midfield for the Lynx in both matches this week. Kennedy’s stellar play led Rhodes to their 3rd conference victory of the year, a hard fought win over Hendrix. Kennedy plays all three midfield positions for Rhodes and drives communication and passing on both ends of the field. Kennedy’s determination and toughness on the field are key to the Lynx success.
