IAN REWOLDT OF
COLORADO COLLEGE, a senior forward from Huxley,
Iowa has been named SCAC Basketball Player-of-the-Week for games
played Monday, February 4 through Sunday, February 10.
Rewoldt averaged 17 points and 12.5 rebounds per
game to help Colorado College record a pair of victories over
Centenary College.
On Friday night, Rewoldt scored 13 points and
grabbed seven rebounds as the Tigers overcame an 11-point
first-half deficit to defeat the Gents, 65-61.
During Saturday’s 88-79 victory, Rewoldt posted career highs of 21 points and 18 rebounds for his third double-double of the season and the ninth of his career.
With 34 points and 25 rebounds in the two games, he climbed to No. 12 on the school’s all-time lists with 518 rebounds and No. 47 with 644 points.
