LYNDSY MAUS OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a sophomore right-hander from Cypress, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Softball Pitcher-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, March 29 through Sunday, April 4.

 Maus went 3-0 this weekend, starting one contest and coming in relief in two. In 14 innings she allowed 12 hits, one run (unearned) while striking out 10 and walking just one batter. She held Hendrix to a .214 batting average.

For the season, Maus is 10-3 with a 1.16 ERA in just over 78 innings of work. The Sophomore is holding opponents to .218 from the plate and has struck out 65 batters.
