NEW ORLEANS, La. - A total of 167 institutions
representing 35 conferences compose the 2010 All-Academic Cross
Country women's teams. The MIAC led all conferences with 11 members
earning All-Academic honors. The SCAC had eight women's teams
receive recognition.
Hendrix College led the way among SCAC cross country
squads with a team GPA of 3.73. Rhodes College and
Colorado College followed with 3.43 and 3.42 team GPAs,
respectively.
DePauw University is next at 3.38, followed
by Southwestern University at 3.32, Centre
College at 3.26, Trinity University at 3.19
and Sewanee-University of the South with a team GPA of
3.14.
To qualify as a USTFCCCA All-Academic Cross Country Team, the team
must have had a cumulative team GPA of 3.10 or better and have
compiled a score (finished at least five runners) at their
respective NCAA regional championship.
