SARAH FRITZSCHE OF TEXAS LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY, a senior runner from San Antonio, Texas, has been named the SCAC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week for meets run through Sunday, September 25th.
Fritzsche led the Bulldogs to their third win in a row in a dual meet against Southwestern Assemblies of God University.
Fritzsche ran the 5k race in 20:54, placing second overall in the field.
The Bulldogs will compete next at the Southwest Texas Junior College Invitational in Uvalde, Texas.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Sophomore Trinh Ha of Southwestern University led the Pirates in the Concordia Invitational, posting a time of 28:29 in her first 6k of the season.
