Cross Country - Week 5 
Four SCAC Cross Country Programs were in action last week, highlighted by St. Thomas taking home the team title at the Prairie View A&M Invite and Colorado College finishing second at its home Ted Castaneda Classic. On the women’s side, the CC Women claimed first at its home meet and St. Thomas claimed third at the Prairie View Invite. Action continues this week with four programs competing as Colorado College will be at the Paul Short Run, Dallas and LeTourneau will race at the Belhaven Invitational and Hendrix heads to the Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival. Men's Runner of the Week - Will Shuflit, Colorado College
Will Shuflit of Colorado College, a senior from Park City, Utah, has been selected the SCAC Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week for meets conducted from Thursday, September 25 through Saturday, September 27.  Full Release

Football - Week 4
McMurry and Hendrix both earned non-conference wins last weekend to highlight SCAC Football action. The War Hawks picked up their first win of the season with a 31-24 victory over Howard Payne, while the Warriors evened their record at 2-2 with a 47-28 win over Rhodes. Just one contest on the schedule this week in SCAC Football as Austin College will host Centenary in a non-conference contest between to league teams. STANDINGS - SCHEDULE - STATISTICS

Offensive Player of the Week - Thomas Chandler, McMurry University

Defensive Player of the Week - Jackson Harris, McMurry University

Special Teams Player of the Week - Clay Brandenburg, Hendrix College
Clay Brandenburg of Hendrix College, a junior kicker from Coppell, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Football Special Teams Player of the Week for games played Saturday, September 27th. Full Release  - POTW Interview


Golf - Week 3
Three individual medalist honors highlighted the week in SCAC Golf. On the men’s side, Texas Lutheran’s Brandon Muson was the medalist winner at the Scots Fall Invitational after emerging triumphant in a playoff and LeTourneau’s Noah Summers fired a pair of rounds in the 60s to secure top individual honors at the Jacksonville College Classic. On the women’s side, Hendrix’s Amber Alsup was the individual medalist at the Scots Fall Invite, becoming the first Warrior in women’s golf history to win an individual title. Golf continues this week with three men’s programs (Dallas, LeTourneau & St. Thomas) and three women’s programs (Dallas, St. Thoams & Texas Lutheran) will all tee it up at the Trinity/Alamo City Classic. MEN'S SCHEDULE - WOMEN'S SCHEDULE

Women's Golfer of the Week - Amber Alsup, Hendrix College

Men's Soccer - Week 5
The first week of conference play in SCAC Men’s Soccer is in the books as St. Thomas (6-1-0, 2-0-0), Colorado College (5-0-3, 2-0-0), Concordia (4-2-2, 1-0-1) and Texas Lutheran (3-3-2, 1-0-1) all remained unbeaten in league action. Colorado College has now extended its unbeaten record in SCAC regular season play to 29, with the Tigers last regular season conference loss coming in October of 2021. Conference play continues again this week with six fixtures scheduled for Friday and six more on Sunday. STANDINGS - SCHEDULE - STATISTICS

Offensive Player of the Week - Teddy Opler, Colorado College
Teddy Opler of Colorado College, a sophomore midfielder from Wilson, Wyo., has been named the SCAC Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for games played from September 22nd through Sunday, September 28th. Full Release  - POTW Interview

Defensive Player of the Week - Jorge Gonzalez, University of St. Thomas
Jorge Gonzalez of University of St. Thomas, a senior goalkeeper from Houston, Texas, has been named the SCAC Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for games played from Monday, September 22nd through Sunday, September 28th. Women's Soccer - Week 5
The opening week of conference play in SCAC Women’s Soccer action in complete at Texas Lutheran (4-3-0, 2-0-0), Dallas (3-5-0, 2-0-0), Concordia (2-5-2, 2-0-0), St. Thomas (4-1-3, 1-0-1) and McMurry (3-3-2, 1-0-1) all remained unbeaten in league play. TLU is off to a perfect 2-0 start in league play for the third consecutive season, while Dallas reached 2-0 in league play for the first time since 2022 and Concordia has achieved a perfect start through two fixtures for the first time in program history. Volleyball - Week 5
Conference play continued last week in SCAC Volleyball as Hendrix (10-1, 4-0), Colorado College (10-3, 3-0) and Schreiner (10-3, 3-0) all remained unbeaten in league play. The CC Tigers are 3-0 in SCAC play for the second consecutive season, while the Mountaineers are off to a perfect start through three matches for the first time in program history. The Warriors 4-0 start marks the best SCAC start in program history, besting the previous mark of 3-0 to start the 2011 season.
