Cross Country - Week 2
The 2025 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Cross Country season continued last week, highlighted by Colorado College kick off its season with a pair of top three finishes at the UCCS Rust Buster as the women finished second, led by Alison Mueller-Hickler finishing second individually and the men turning in a third place finish behind Will Shuflit’s second place finish overall. Football - Week 1
The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Football season opened up last weekend with five of the six squads in action, posting an overall record of 0-5. Football returns this week with all six teams hitting the gridiron, highlighted by Centenary officially opening up its 2025 campaign on the road at Millsaps on Saturday. Additionally, Saturday action includes, Hendrix traveling to Huntingdon, McMurry on the road at Hardin-Simmons, Austin College traveling to Memphis to square off against Rhodes, Lyon hosting Arkansas Baptist and TLU taking on Howard Payne in Seguin. Golf - Week 1
The fall portion of the 2025-26 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference golf schedule is officially underway, highlighted by a majority of league squads participating in the LeTourneau/Weldfab Tempest Intercollegiate. On the men’s side, LeTourneau secured an impressive 28-shot victory over Schreiner led by individual medalist Rafa Torres. Men's Soccer - Week 2
Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Men’s Soccer continued last week, highlighted by Austin College (1-0-0), Concordia (1-0-0), Colorado College (2-0-3) and LeTourneau (0-0-2) remaining undefeated. The CC Tigers are unbeaten through the opening five fixtures for the second consecutive season. A full weekend of non-conference action awaits with 19 contests scheduled Thursday through Sunday. Women's Soccer - Week 2
Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer continued last week as Teas Lutheran (2-0-0), LeTourneau (2-0-1) and Schreiner (2-0-1) remained undefeated. The YellowJackets has started the season with three consecutive shutouts for the first time since 2018, TLU is a perfect 2-0 for the first time since 2019 and Schreiner is off to its best start through three contests since joining the SCAC prior to the 2013 season. Volleyball - Week 2
The second week of the 2025 SCAC Volleyball season is in the books as all 12 teams were in action, highlighted by St. Thomas rattling off four more wins to improve to a perfect 8-0 on the season. The perfect start through eight matches is the best start for the Celts since joining the SCAC prior to the 2019 season. Joining St. Thomas among the unbeaten through the first two weeks are Centenary (1-0) and Hendrix (5-0). Currently nine of the 12 SCAC squads sit at .600 or better on the season.
