SUWANEE, Ga. -- SCAC weekly releases for the week spanning from Monday, September 29th to Tuesday, October 7th.

Cross Country - Week 6 
Individual performances from Colorado College’s Will Shuflit and Alison Mueller-Hickler at the Paul Short Run, along with a pair of top two team performances from LeTourneau highlighted SCAC Cross Country last week. Shuflit earned the individual title, crossing the line of the 8K course in a PR time of 24:04.9 to outrace 422 individuals, while Mueller-Hickler finished 12th-place finish in the women’s 6K race, crossing the line in 21:23.5. In team action the YellowJackets finished first and second respectively in men’s and women’s team competition at the Belhaven Invite. Men's Runner of the Week - Will Shuflit, Colorado College
Will Shuflit of Colorado College, a junior from Park City, Utah, has been selected the SCAC Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week for meets conducted from Friday, October 3 through Saturday, October 4. It is the second consecutive week he has earned the honor.  Full Release - POTW Interview

Women's Runner of the Week - Alison Mueller-Hickler, Colorado College
Alison Mueller-Hickler of Colorado College, a senior from Katy, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week for meets conducted from Friday, October 3 through Saturday, October 4. It is the second conscutive week she has earned the honor.  Full Release - POTW Interview


Football - Week 5
In the lone SCAC Football action of the week, Austin College (1-2, 0-0) defeated Centenary (0-3, 0-0) in a non-conference contest, 41-15. The second weekend in October welcomes the return of SCAC contests with three games scheduled for Saturday. McMurry (1-3, 0-0) hosts Lyon (1-2, 0-0), Austin College travels to take on Hendrix (2-2, 0-3) and Texas Lutheran (1-3, 0-0) visits Centenary. STANDINGS - SCHEDULE - STATISTICS

Special Teams Player of the Week - Kellen Vickery, Austin College

Golf - Week 4
The Fall portion of the SCAC golf schedule continued last week with four men’s and four women’s programs competing at the Carla Spenkoch Invitational. On the men’s side, LeTourneau finished in a tie for first, while St. Thomas led the way on the women’s side with a sixth-place finish. Golf continues this week highlighted by Centenary, Concordia, Dallas, Hendrix, McMurry, Schriner, St. Thomas and Texas Lutheran all competing in the SCAC Fall Preview. MEN'S SCHEDULE - WOMEN'S SCHEDULE

Men's Co-Golfer of the Week - Iain Griggs, University of Dallas

Women's Co-Golfer of the Week - Katelyn Henslee, McMurry University
Katelyn Henslee of McMurry Univeristy, a first-year from Rusk, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women’s Co-Golfer-of-the-Week for competition played from Monday, Ocotber 6 through Tuesday, October 7.  Full Release - POTW Interview

Women's Co-Golfer of the Week - Leah Torres, University of St. Thomas
Leah Torres of University of St. Thomas, a sophomore from Kingwood, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women’s Co-Golfer-of-the-Week for competition played from Monday, Ocotber 6 through Tuesday, October 7.  Full Release  


Men's Soccer - Week 6
Two weeks into the SCAC Men’s Soccer conference portion of the schedule, St. Thomas (7-1-1, 3-0-1), Colorado College (6-0-4, 3-0-1), Texas Lutheran (5-3-2, 3-0-1) and Concordia (5-2-3, 2-0-2) all remained unbeaten in league play and sit in the top four of the league standings. SCAC competition continues this weekend with six fixtures scheduled for Friday and Sunday, highlighted by TLU traveling to face Colorado College on Friday. STANDINGS - SCHEDULE - STATISTICS

Jesus Carrillo of Texas Lutheran University, a first-year midfielder from San Antonio, Texas, has been named the SCAC Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for games played from September 29th through Sunday, October 5th. Full Release

Women's Soccer - Week 6
Three SCAC Women’s Soccer squads remain unbeaten in league play going into week three of conference action this weekend. Texas Lutheran (6-3-0, 4-0-0) sits atop the league table with a perfect 12 our of a possible 12 points, while McMurry (5-3-2, 3-0-1) and St. Thomas (5-1-3, 2-0-1) both remain unbeaten in SCAC action. Volleyball - Week 6
Schreiner (14-3, 6-0) remained the lone unbeaten team in SCAC Volleyball league play following wins over Centenary (2-10, 1-5), LeTourneau (11-7, 3-3) and Ozarks (3-10, 1-6) over the weekend. Additionally, the Mountaineers earned a non-conference win over Southwestern, just the fifth win for Schreiner over Southwestern in the previous 32 matches. SCAC Volleyball continues this weekend with 11 conference matches scheduled through Sunday, starting with McMurry (9-6, 2-4) at St. Thomas (15-2, 5-1) on Thursday. STANDINGS - SCHEDULE - STATISTICS
