CHRIS ECKES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS, a freshman from Fort Smith, Ark., is named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Men’s Golfer of the Week for tournaments played through Tuesday, March 17, 2015.
Eckes earned his first Golfer of the Week honor after posting a top finish in the Crusaders first spring competition against Haskell Indian Nations.
This is Eckes third top five finish in a row. He earned a top finish against Hendrix College in UD's final fall competition and finished in a tie for fifth place in a field of 128 at the United States Collegiate Athletic Association National Championship.
The Crusaders will head across town next week to compete in the University of Texas-Dallas Men's Spring Classic.
