MEMPHIS, Tenn. - With a first inning single on Sunday, April 17 vs. Sewanee, Rhodes Senior Shortstop Allison Conn collected her 200th career hit, making her just the second player in SCAC history to reach the 200-hit milestone.
After hitting .307 during her freshman campaign and collecting
31 hits, Conn put together 3-concecutive seasons with a batting
average above .400, hitting .427 as a sophomore, .400 as a junior,
and finishing her senior campaign at .457. She graduates with
a .403 career batting average, the highest in Rhodes history, and
averaged 1.48 hits per game during her career, second all time in
the SCAC and first among players with at least 100 games
played.
During her career, Conn was part of a senior class that amassed
more wins than any other class in Rhodes history (94) and qualified
for 3 SCAC Championships, including a runner-up finish in
2009. She leaves Rhodes as both the career and single season
leader in both hits and runs scored, in addition to the highest
career batting average in Rhodes history.
