    SUWANEE, Ga. - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) named a record 1,077 student-athletes to the 2010 SCAC Spring Academic Honor Roll on Wednesday. This year's total eclipsed last year's previous record of 1,029 student-athletes.

    SHERMAN, Texas – Michelle Filander has been named the new head coach of the Austin College women’s basketball program, vice president for Student Affairs and Athletics Tim Millerick has announced. Filander comes to Austin College from Washington & Jefferson College, where she served as an assistant coach for four seasons. She will also serve as the Senior Women’s Administrator at Austin College.

    SUWANEE, Ga. - With spring championships in women's tennis and women's golf - in addition to second-place finishes in men's and women's track & field, baseball and men's tennis - DePauw University cruised to a 127.5 point victory in the race for the 2009-10 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference President's Trophy. It is the fifth consecutive all-sports trophy for the Tigers.

    SHERMAN, Texas – Austin College senior forward Katy Williams scored 31 points and grabbed 16 rebounds, breaking the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference career rebounding record in the process, as the ’Roo women’s basketball team topped Colorado College 87-70 on Saturday afternoon. The ’Roos are now 15-6 overall and 9-3 in conference play.
