Hendrix's Tate Sets SCAC Single Season Rebound Mark

GEORGETOWN, Texas - Hendrix College sophomore forward Jamie Tate set a new Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference single season record with her 10 rebound performance against Southwestern University Saturday night. Her 10 rebounds gives her an SCAC record 327 on the season.

Tate came into the game against Southwestern with 317 rebounds on the season, three shy of Katy Williams' 2009-10 record total of 320. She grabbed her record breaking 321st rebound with 1:47 left in the first half and went on to tally six more rebounds in an 88-71 loss to the Pirates.

Earlier this season, Tate set a school and SCAC single game record with 29 rebounds in a 68-37 win over Austin College on January 9, 2012.
