SUWANEE, Ga. - The Birmingham-Southern College Panthers put together a solid showing at the Louisville Classic. The Panthers placed fifth overall out of 35 teams. Elsewhere, the Trinity University Tigers won the Texas Lutheran Invitational.

Sewanee: The University of the South senior Mitzi Harrington was named this week's SCAC Women's Runner of the Week. Harrington ran a lifetime personal best at the Louisville Classic to lead the Sewanee team. Her time of 20:07 was a 45 second improvement over her previous best and placed her 38th out of the field of 298 runners.
