Women's Cross Country Recap (Week 6) - Around the SCAC

SUWANEE, Ga. - The DePauw University Tigers, behind three top-five finishes, won the Gibson Family Invitational. It marked the team's second straight win and the fourth consecutive top-five overall finish.

DePauw senior Ellen Mail was named this week's SCAC Women's Runner of the Week. She placed second, only one spot behind teammate Lauren Reich. Mail ran a 22:55 to help the Tigers to the Gibson Family Invitational championship.

Rhodes College had a strong showing at the Gibson Family Invitational. The Lynx posted a third-place finish behind strong runs from Melissa DeFabrizio (23:28), Cybil Covic (23:31), and Taylor Stephens (23:47).
