Colorado College's Frank, Wessler Named SCAC Runners of the Week

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – Graham Frank and Leah Wessler of Colorado College's men's and women's cross country teams have been named SCAC Runners of the Week for their performance this past weekend.

 

 

 

 

 

 

SCAC MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK
Meets through Sunday, September 28th

GRAHAM FRANK OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a senior from West Linn, Ore., has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for meets run through Sunday, September 28th.

Frank led the Tiger men's cross country team to a sixth-place finish in the College Division of the Cowboy Jamboree Saturday in Stillwater, Okla.

Frank finished 12th out of 146 runners with a time of 26:43 for the 8K, shattering his previous best of 27:29. Frank had the highest finish among D-III runners. 

 

SCAC WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK
Meets through Sunday, September 28th

LEAH WESSLER OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a sophomore from Ashland, Ore., has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Cross Country Runner-of-the-Week for meets run through Sunday, September 28th.

Wessler led Tiger women's cross country team to an impressive third-place finish in the College Division of the Cowboy Jamboree Saturday in Stillwater, Okla.

Wessler placed 5th overall out of 153 runners with a time of 19:22 for the 5k. This was the highest finish for Colorado College at the Cowboy Jamboree by a female runner and a PR for Wessler this season.

Colorado College third place team finish out of 16 schools is the women's highest finish at Oklahoma State in school history.
