SUWANEE, Ga. -- Highlighted by its conference championships in women's soccer and volleyball, Trinity University has established an early lead in the race for the 2023-24 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Presidents' Trophy. Fall Results

Trinity's championship in women's soccer represented the 27th for the program, equaling the number won by Trinity men's tennis and tying for the most by any one program in SCAC history. The following weekend, Trinity was crowned SCAC championships in volleyball for a record 21st time. The TU Tigers also earned runner-up finishes in both men's and women's cross country at those respective championships before settling for a second-place finish at the SCAC men's soccer championship.

At the completion of fall championship play, the TU Tigers have accumulated 190 total points in the all-sports standings and sit 42.5 points clear of Colorado College, who has 147.5 points. The CC Tigers swept both the men's and women's cross country titles for the third consecutive year.

University of St. Thomas, which won its third consecutive SCAC men's soccer title, sits alone in third place with 142.5 points.

Trinity has won the last 12 SCAC Presidents' Trophies and has claimed the bell signifying conference supremacy 23 times overall. Both of those marks (consecutive and all-time wins) represent the current record in a league that has been recognizing an all-sports champion every year since 1962.
