Austin College's Bryce Frank named USBWA National Player of the Week

ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- Austin College junior forward Bryce Frank picks up another award this week from her performance at the McWilliams Classic this past weekend. Earlier today Frank was named to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week.

Frank, a 6-2 junior forward from Granbury, Texas, averaged a double-double in Austin College's (4-4) two victories last week. In a 71-48 win over Pomoma-Pitzer on Friday, Frank played only 25 minutes but still tallied 12 points, six rebounds, five assists, and two steals.

The next day, against then-No. 13 Washington-St. Louis, she scored 30 points, grabbed 15 rebounds and added two assists as the 'Roos pinned only the fifth home loss in the past six years on the Bears, 85-77.

For the week, Frank averaged 21 points, 10.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.0 steals per game while shooting 48.5 percent from the field (17-of-35) and 80 percent (8-of-10) from the foul line.

For her efforts, Frank was named MVP of Washington-St. Louis' McWilliams Classic and Player of the Week in the SCAC.
