Two SCAC Women's Basketball Players Earn D3hoops.com All-America Honors

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Trinity University's Micah Weaver and Austin College's Bryce Frank have one more award to add to their postseason resume, both earning a spot on the D3hoops.com All-America Team.

The two previously earned WBCA All-America and D3hoops.com All-Region honors. They also shared the SCAC's Player of the Year award after finishing the coaches' voting in a tie. Weaver was named to the third team by D3hoops.com, while Frank earned fourth team recognition.

Weaver accounted for 527 of the Tigers' points this season, averaging 19.5 points per contest and racking up 1,000 points in her two-season Trinity career. Weaver became the 17th player in Tiger women's basketball history to reach this achievement. Weaver also paced the Tigers with 90 assists, 151 total rebounds, and 72 steals. A deadly accurate shooter, Weaver fired in 50.5% of her shots from field.

Frank finished second in the conference with 18.2 points-per-game while also leading the SCAC in rebounding for the second year in a row, pulling down 10.3 rebounds-per-game. She also led the SCAC with a 53.4% field goal percentage, in addition to finishing fifth in assists-per-game with 3.2 per-game.
