MAGGIE PREWITT
OF CENTRE COLLEGE, a senior guard
from Mt. Sterling, Ky., has been named SCAC Basketball
Player-of-the-Week for games played Monday, January 16 through
Sunday, January 22.
The senior Prewitt had one of the best two-game
stretches of her career this week, posting a triple double (14
points, 17 rebounds, 12 assists) in a 24-point win over
Southwestern, then nearly posting another one (11 points, 6
rebounds, 13 assists) in Centre’s 17-point win over Trinity.
For the week, Prewitt averaged a triple double
with 12.5 points, 11.5 rebounds and 12.5 assists per game.
