BERKELEY MENGWASSER OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a sophomore defender from Bedford, Texas, has been named the SCAC Women's Soccer Co-Defensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, September 29 through Sunday, October 5.
Mengwasser pushed both teams out of the Pirates' half of
the pitch over the weekend as Southwestern posted two shutouts over
the weekend.
Mengwasserdismantled several Austin
College drives allowing only six shots on goal during her time on
the field in both games.
