DePauw's Reich Named 2010 SCAC Woman of the Year

DePauw Wins Fifth Consecutive SCAC President's Trophy
April 28, 2010SUWANEE, Ga. - With spring championships in women's tennis and women's golf - in addition to second-place finishes in men's and women's track & field, baseball and men's tennis - DePauw University cruised to a 127.5 point victory in the race for the 2009-10 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference President's Trophy. It is the fifth consecutive all-sports trophy for the Tigers. -
SCAC has 16 men's and women's teams named to 2009 USTFCCCA All-Academic List
March 11, 2010NEW ORLEANS, La. - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference had 16 total men's and women's cross country teams named to the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic list for the 2009 season. Nine women's teams were honored while seven men's teams earned the distinction. -
Record 782 student-athletes highlight SCAC Fall 2009 Academic Honor Roll
January 29, 2010SUWANEE, Ga. - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) named a record 783 student-athletes to the 2009 SCAC Fall Academic Honor Roll on Friday. This year's total eclipsed last year's previous record of 778 student-athletes. Since its inception in the fall of 1997, over 15,500 student-athletes have achieved recognition for their contributions in the classroom. -

October 31, 2009CONYERS, Ga. - In the closest SCAC women's cross country championship race, the DePauw University Tigers narrowly edged the Rhodes College Lynx for the Tigers' seventh straight conference championship. DePauw was a two point victor over the Lynx. -

The Tigers placed second overall in the team score while several runners had strong runs. Among them was Margot Cutter who ran a 24:58 6K to place fifth overall.
