LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Colorado College sophomore Sam Buxbaum and freshman Austin Howlett have been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Female Swimmer and Diver-of-the-Week, respectively, for Week Eight of the 2013-14 Women's Swimming & Diving season.
SCAC WOMEN'S SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
Meets through Sunday, January 12th
ZOE PIERRAT OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a freshman from Westlake Village, Calif., has been selected the SCAC Women's Swimmer-of-the-Week for all meets through Sunday, January 12.
After taking over a month off, Pierrat led Colorado College to a second place finish on Saturday at the Founders Invitational Relay Meet in Islamorada, Fla.
Pierrat was a double winner in the Founders Park Relays, as part of the winning teams in the 4x50 butterfly relay, and the 4x50 free relay.
SCAC WOMEN'S DIVER OF THE WEEK
Meets through Sunday, Jnauary 12th
SAM BUXBAUM OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a sophomore from Bethesda, Md. has been selected the SCAC Women's Diver-of-the-Week for all meets through Sunday, January 12.
After taking over a month off, Buxbaum led the Tigers to a second place finish on Saturday at the Founders Invitational Relay Meet in Islamorada, Fla.
Buxbaum teamed up with Austin Howlett for a coed format in diving and took first place in that portion.
