Trinity’s Beauchamp and Heline Earn SCAC Women’s Swimmer/Diver-of-the-Week Honors

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Trinity (Texas) University sophomores Kara Beauchamp and Ashley Heline have been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Female Swimmer and Diver-of-the-Week, respectively, for Week Two of the 2013-14 SCAC Women's Swimming & Diving season.







SCAC WOMEN'S SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
Meets through Sunday, October 27

KARA BEAUCHAMP OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a sophomore from Sammanish, Wash., has been selected the SCAC Women's Swimmer-of-the-Week for all meets through Sunday, October 27.

Beauchamp was a triple event winner at Trinity's season opening meet with Southwestern University.

Beauchamp's wins covered a challenging mix of events. She captured the 200 Freestyle (1:59.67), the 200 Breaststroke (2:30.03), and the 200 IM (2:14.10). 

 

SCAC WOMEN'S DIVER OF THE WEEK
Meets through Sunday, October 27

ASHLEY HELINE OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a sophomore from Denver, Colo., has been selected the SCAC Women's Diver-of-the-Week for all meets through Sunday, October 27.

Heline, a 2013 All-American, won the 3-meter six dive contest with a score of 248.10, and was runner-up to All-American Katie Sheldon in the 1-meter event (239.05 to 235.85).
