LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- A Sunday conference matchup between Dallas and Centenary highlighted a three-game slate in SCAC men's lacrosse this past week.
In the first action of the week involving a SCAC men's team, Centenary dropped a 25-3 decision on Thursday at Hendrix College. The Gents' Mark Temple had his fifth goal of the season and John Mark Waniewski and Brooks Smita also found the back of the net. Senior goalie Thomas Siskron had 16 saves.
On Saturday, Colorado College exploded for 11 consecutive goals in a little more than 15 minutes during the first half and cruised to a 22-8 victory over Adams State University. Anders Erickson led the Tigers with seven goals and four assists. Makay Hansen scored four times and added a pair of assists, while Elliot Nelson struck for four goals and set up another. Winston Chodnicki won 16 of 19 faceoffs and shared the team lead with six ground balls. Goaltender Ben Anastos made six saves during the first three quarters and improved to 3-0 on the season.
