LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - The SCAC softball season continued on into the ninth week of competition.
The current SCAC leader, Texas Lutheran University (29-2, 15-1), had their conference win streak snapped at 49 games by Southwestern University (16-16, 9-11) on Saturday. TLU went 3-1 against the Pirates on the week.
Trinity University (20-8, 13-3) split an out-of-conference doubleheader with Our Lady of the Lake on Tuesday. Dallas (16-14, 11-5) extended their win streak to seven games with a 4-0 week over Austin College (13-19, 3-13).
Centenary College (17-19, 6-14) and Schreiner University (5-23, 3-13) split both doubleheaders last weekend. Centenary also split with Hendrix earlier in the week.
