LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Four Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference softball programs have begun play for the 2016 season.
No. 13 Texas Lutheran University is off to a hot start, earning sweeps over Texas-Dallas and Mary Hardin-Baylor en route to a 4-0 overall record.
Austin College and Southwestern University both sit at 2-0 after the 'Roos earned a doubleheader sweep over Southwestern Assemblies of God. The Pirates took down Southwestern Assemblies during the first weekend of the season on January 30th.
Schreiner University is winless so far after dropping two games to Hardin-Simmons.
