CLEBURNE, Texas -- In an announcement made Saturday afternoon at the conference tournament, Texas Lutheran University's Cullen Motsinger was named the 2019 SCAC Baseball Elite 19 award winner.
Motsinger, a sophomore from Houston, Texas, currently holds a 3.789 GPA and was an All-SCAC second team selection on this year's all-conference baseball team.
The SCAC Elite 19 is awarded to the student-athlete who has at least a cumulative 3.25 GPA, at least 60 credit hours and earns All-SCAC honors for that particular season. A student-athlete will be honored annually from each of the league's 19 conference-sponsored sports and will be recognized at the site at that year's conference championship event.
This is the inaugural year of the SCAC Elite 19 award.
