NORMAN, Okla. - The Division III PING All-America Teams were finalized this week and Southwestern's Cade Osgood and Texas Lutheran's Colin Uecker both received All-America recognition for the second consecutive year. Osgood earned Second Team honors and Uecker was a Third Team selection. Christl was one of 23 recognized as Honorable Mention All-America.
Osgood, a junior from Austin, Texas, capped off a season in which he placed sixth at the 2019 NCAA Division III Championship on the individual leader board. The league's reigning Player-of-the-Year as a sophomore, Osgood was an All-SCAC honorable mention selection based on his play at the 2019 championship.
Uecker, a senior from Kerrville, Texas, earned medalist honors at the 2019 SCAC Championships, one of five tournaments he won during the season (tying a school record) and later was named the SCAC Golfer-of-the-Year. Uecker earned an individual berth into the 2019 NCAA Division III Championship, entering the event as the No. 9 rated golfer (Golfstat) in NCAA Division III.
Christl, a senior from Flower Mound, Texas, posted an average of 72.91 in eight tournament this year, which included a tie for 10th at the 2019 SCAC Championships, earning him a spot on the All-SCAC Second Team.
