IRVING, Texas – Head women's basketball coach Jina Johansen of the University of Dallas announced Tuesday that she has resigned from her position. Coach Johansen has accepted the head coaching position at Hastings College.
During her five years at the helm of Dallas, Johansen compiled a 63-69 record to hold the most wins by a head coach for the Crusaders' program. This span included three winning campaigns, the most recent in 2014-15.
The most recent season resulted in Johansen's club going 14-12 overall and 7-7 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC). Dallas notched the number five seed in the conference tournament, and was defeated by Schreiner University, 58-53, in the SCAC Quarterfinals at the Maher Athletic Center.
