LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Five teams have clinched their bids to the 2017 SCAC Women's Basketball tournament after last weekend.

Trinity University took over the top spot in the conference standings after avenging their only loss of the season by defeating Texas Lutheran University. The Tigers are joined by TLU, Austin College, Schreiner University and Southwestern University as teams that have secured their spots in the conference tournament.

Austin College swept their opponents this weekend on the road, defeating both the University of Dallas and Colorado College by double figures.

Centenary College, Dallas and Colorado College will all battle for the final spot in the SCAC tournament.
