LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference action was in full swing this weekend for women's basketball, with all eight teams competing in league games.
No. 14/16 Trinity University swept Austin College and Centenary College in their SCAC opening weekend, moving to 13-0 on the season and 2-0 in conference.
Austin College bounced back from a tough competition with the Tigers to defeat Schreiner University Saturday.
Texas Lutheran University and Southwestern University each pulled in two wins over the weekend, both defeating Colorado College and the University of Dallas.
Schreiner University went 1-1 on the week, defeating Centenary before falling to the 'Roos.
