LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play continued last week with a new team taking control of the top spot in the standings.
Texas Lutheran University took down No. 12 Trinity University, handing the Tigers their first loss of the season. The Bulldogs were led by 28 points from Savannah Hight in the win.
The win earned TLU sole posession of the top spot in the conference leaderboard, moving to 12-3 on the season and 4-0 in SCAC play.
Austin College picked up another pair of wins, defeating Colorado College and the University of Dallas to move to 12-4 on the season and 4-1 in the SCAC.
Centenary picked up its first win in SCAC play, defeating Colorado College on Friday. Dallas also earned a win, defeating the Ladies' on Saturday.
